INCOMPLETE_FILE_(song name)
 

I have read the FAQ and done a search before I posted this.........Just FYI. When I download and look in my C: directory on my system I get a file directory with the name of the song that reads" INCOMPLETE_FILE_FREEBIRD, just as an exmple. It doesnt list it as incomplete in my Limewire directory, but when I go in to burn the song it gives me an error. Why is it doing this and not listing it as incomplete in the Limewire directory? about 75% of my songs are like that. I am running XP Home.

Sorry--this isn't much of an answer, but if someone shares a bunch of incomplete songs, they will tranfer exactly.

Try to replicate the problem, and look carefully at the sources. Perhaps someone is deliberately feeding bad files into the network.

If it is a problem with the code improperly handling some files, much more info would be very useful as this is an unusual situation.
