I just had that same thing happen tonight! Nothing has changed with the setup of the computer, running XP SP2 on a3.4Ghz with DSL, everyting was finaly running fine then, when I logged in tonight all I can get is "need more sources". I also noticed that there is only 1 or 2 uploads, and I ususally have people waiting for uploads. My connection says turbo, and I can search fine, just not download. |

Thanks to Stief's help, I seem to have sorted this by switching of XP's Firewall. I have my own firewall McAffee. Limewire seems to be working ok again. I don't seem to have had a letter from Mr. Gates asking me if it is ok for him to install and then switch on his firewall, with the very likelihood that it would foul up some of my settings. Perhaps he's too busy, but I expect he probably send me a Christmas card! |
