It sounds like your preferences have stuffed up or you've accidentally pressed default button. Reselect your normal Saving & Sharing folders, pess apply & ok & go to Library window & press Refresh button. Some normal media players may refuse to play files that are incomplete. Try playing them from LW again. If your LW dwnld prefs have become corrupted, you may need to start again & delete your incomplete files.

Which version of LW are you using? If possible it might be worth updating - even to the beta LW 4.1.8 which is much more stable & many more improvements. Also update your Java: http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_automatic.jsp

I don't know which OS you're using, but if you're using OSX or Win XP & use the latest Java & LW, I'd suggest it shouldn't happen again. This issue was more common with the older OS's, earlier versions of Java & LW.

Keep in mind that items listed in red in the incmplete folder can be b/c they've lost their link/relationship with the original source. Searching for the file & selecting to dwnld until you find the right one that dwnlds & continues on from where the incomplete one was is 'THE' most effective way of doing it. Force resuming the red files inevitably (but not always) ends up with them beginning from 0%! See this: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=26449

That is surprising then! You could always try the beta 4.1.8 or wait till 4.2 comes out. There's been many improvements (not all of them visible.) You can find a link for LW Beta 4.1.8 here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...5&pagenumber=1
