Hi every one:
I was using Gnutella LimeWire 4.0.7 Basic with very high downloading bitrate standards.
Yesterday I decided to upgrade to LimeWire Pro 4.0.08 and installed it.
For tiis; I wrote alll my old setting values (wich was useless as far as new version took'em automatically).
Now what I see is that the downloading is 10 times slower than my "UNPAID Versin".. Can anyone help me at this topic or give me an idea ??? (please be so kind not to so call me stupid for buyiing tis vesion :$)

When you move up version, the new version will adopt your old preferences. Why you should have had any difference in behaviour is a mystery. May I recommend you try the LW beta 4.1.8 which has many improvements (not all are visible) & apparently is easier to connect with as well. You wil find the Beta PRO at the bottom of your personal dwnld page; see: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...5&pagenumber=1 (It's amazing that a small change in app can make a big diff in behaviour. It's b/c everyone's system is just that little bit different & more variants at hand.)

Writting down your previous settings wasn't stupid (provided that you weren't using the default settings, huh?). You may need to delete the preferences folder, in which case you'll have to remember the previous settings.

I guess, that this second time of buying software in the net, was not a bad idea, normally I buy original in case, next time I'll download... ;
Now you have plenty material to make a "troubleShooting Book" Count on me for the translation on Lantinamerica Spanish. In case you wish.
