I've tried downloading this several times and each time I get the message that I'm missing the Java and that it will automatically install it for me. But every time, before it can even install the Java, I get a window with the following message:

Java runtime environment download cancelled.
Limewire will now exit the installation.

The only option I can select is "ok" and then Limewire cancels the download. Is there somewhere I can download the Java I need independently of Limewire? Or is there another download link that may work for me?

I'd certainly appreciate any help on this. Thanks!

This link is to an installer that has Java 1.1 built in. No extra download is required. This is only meant for those who are having trouble connecting to the network with the normal version.
