It won't Let me share my song so others can download it!
 

It won't let me put my song I made into Limeware so other people can download it I put it in my shared folder (my Music) and when ever I type it into search (Empire is it's file name) it never comes up, please help me I've been working on it for hours now.

Is it that I have to upload it not just out it into the folder or am I just missing something? I don'tknow how to upload it

What O.S. do you have? I only know how to do this using winXP.
If it's any help, I copy from media player to C:\Documents and Settings\"your name"\shared
This was the default when I installed LimeWire.

Espo ONE post is enough, its a lot of work to delete the other posts... would you please read our rules before you posts?

Sorry about that, I don't understand what your saying, I have it in a file sharing folder my music so its already in there do I hvae to upload it I got XP.

lol in most circumstances you cannot do a search using LW & it come up with results of your own shared files (though in rare cricumstances it's been known to happen.) Having that ability would be a waste of LW's search energy & resources. You'd need to try & search the file from somebody else's computer.
If it's in one of your shared folders, people will find it. Go to LW's menu Tools>Options>Sharing & check that this folder is shared. Also go to your LW Library window & click the arrow next to the folder name to open it. If your file is listed, it means it is being shared. Also in the Hits column to the right side, you can see how many times it's been seen by other people. Under the Uplds column you can see if anybody or how many people have uplded it. Hope this helps!
