Download return to 0%

Hello there!
I would like to know why does my limewire took a long time to connect when I start my pc... I will have to exit a couple of times before it is a success.
One more thing, I was downloading some songs and programs when suddenly the downloading process turns to 0%. It was abt 50+% but when I checked everything was deleted! Though I resumed, the process still back to square one which is 0%! Haiz...care to help?

Frequent starting/killing of LimeWire may lose your downloads...

Tried downloading...

I've tried downloading LimeWire.4.1.9.666[1] but I can't seem to execute it... Or I do not know how to go about it... Any idea?

A well set-up LW can start to continue its dwnlding after it's settled down perhaps 2 out of 3 times you open LW. Optimising LW & Maximising Uplds & Dwnlds A (1st post only) & also Part B which is even better & last & least are search & dwnld hints. Oh & don't resume too many files at one time, it can cause your LW to have major connection quality problems & cause files to be queued for much much longer than normal. Manual searching it preferable.

Your other question is a trap_jaw4 specific question.

If you are using windows, you can double click on the "LimeWire.jar" file. Or you could try copying the files from that zip into your regular LimeWire program directory...

Tried copying the files...

Currently, I'm using Limewire 4.0.8 and I've tried copying Limewire 4.1.9.666 to my previous Limewire folder which is 4.0.8. Also, I tried clicking the limewire.jar and it wrote... "Could not find the main class. Program will exit!" When I re-run Limewire, it wrote "Limewire is unable to load. Please install or download Limewire again!"

What should I do now? Thanx!
