am using xp pro and after leavin limewire runnig a while it crashes my computer an restarts it. when limewire starts back up it always says it cant resume my old downloads.

can any1 help me?

A simple question to start...

Do you have LimeWire configured to automatically launch on your system start-up ?

If so, try manually launching LW after your machine has 'settled down' and has obtained a stable connection to your ISP.
