Post freezing and skipping songs

Ive noticed almost all of my songs ive downloaded so far have skipped or froze. Is this a common problem? If so how do I go about fixing it?

Go to LW's menu Tools>Options>Player & Untick Player option box. This will mean when you launch a song, your default mp3 player will play instead. A decent player is QCD (Quintessential Player: a free player with built-in codecs that plays all mp3 types) Outside of LW select an mp3 & go to File>Properties & select 'Open with ...' & select QCD to always play it.

Default that does not doo it

you advice on MP3 player does not fix the problem for me. Hi my name is Morgan and I now use Lw Paid versoin and I have noticed every song I have downloaded here on Lw has Skipps every 15 seconds in a song I have times the intervales and on the songe every one has a different intervale of skipps one might be every 15 seconds and another might be every 23 seconds but none the less the songs SKIP.. perhapps there is a problem with the servers or some sort of interuption. I use Microsoft media player and it is the only I like. I dont like the other media player because the features suck. now a straight answer as to what the problem is would be great I have chatted with 27 others that are haveing this same problem though most do not want to **** and moan about it.. BUT I do.
winmx has clean files that do not skip but winmx is very very SLOW and most files are miss named. like you think your downloading m*t*ll*c* enter s*dm*n but when the download is done you find it is daffy duck singing somthing else. so I give lw credit for properly named files but the skipping man it is killing the intrest in lw.. hopefull this will be fixed in an update since I have 6 months worth coming my way.. oh and I though the advertisment said somthing about more hosts and faster downloads? the downloads are only 12 bits faster than winmx with a crap load less hoasts.. so what is the deal was this a ploy to get money? well if so.. hehehe I guess it worked .. you guys suckered me right in.. just kidding.. but really the skipping is really not good

Can't mention wares & dwnlding other copyright material in posts: Forum Rules

Then it sounds as though your system is overloaded or something. I haven't had any problems with songs skipping outside of LW. Why don't you try playing the songs whilst LW is closed & see if you still have the same problem. LW uses most of its resources for searching & dwnlding, etc., not for the media player. WMP tends to need xtra codecs which is why I recommended a player that has in-built codecs. If it really bothers you so much then perhaps you could try a few tests out.

As a side note: Beware of dwnlding from T3 sources b/c certainly some seem to be loaded with corrupt files.

You can alwys start with LW free version before going to the pro version.

Nope.. Guess what .. the problem is not with LW your going to love this..
I use 56K dial up right? so I was going on a thought that sometimes contacts of electrical devices need to be checked so I went around the home checking all the phone lines and LOW AND BEHOLD.. Igot to the phone jack for the computer and I pulled out the Line Jack and it was full of LINT and DUST as well as a few things I dont think Forensic sceintists even kow of yet.. so I blow all the S**t out and make it all nice and clean.. then I go back on line and now I see I am connected at a higher speed and then I go LW and wow I downloaded a song faster? yes by 30 Bs very good download finishes I play it.. NOT A SKIP
NOT A BLIP so now I am sorry for not doing this first .. this should be a lesson to us all befor jumping on LW staff we all should investigate the problem first. think befor we speek.. as well as if your a dial uper go check the crudd in you phone reseptical clean the lint,dust/ and other stuff out.. Really makes a differance
