 Upload speeds Limewire's 4.2.x upload speed control is broken. Running under Win XP. The prefs file always shows the upload speed to be 25KB/s no matter what the setting in within Limewire. Even if I change the value manually, it is ignored and max upload speed carries on, impacting on my d/l speeds. This bug has been reported, but I wonder if anybody has been able to tame Limewire in this regard. I did not notice the problem in v4.0.x Last edited by DrTeeth; December 4th, 2004 at 03:14 AM.  |
