LImewire & Proxies
 

After trying several anon public proxies under the "advanced" submenu under "options" I can search but not dl. I'm using XP with the firewall disabled and behind a router with a built in firewall.

Checked the router settings...seems ok.

I know next to nothing about using anon proxies.

Does Limewire require a port # other than the port # that is matched with the proxy.

Any good sources on this subject out there? Haven't found anything of much use yet.:confused:
