Audio drop outs Could anybody explain why after l sucessfully download songs, l play them back and suffer at various times audio drop out ( sound stops for maybe 1/2 sec & even 2 to 3 sec's) and then the audio will continue, very frustrating if you are listening to songs. Please help if you can. |
The problem could be caused by several different things... and perhaps more than one thing at the same time ! We need to know more about your system as in: What Computer type what Operating System what 'player' you are trying to use how much memory (RAM) The other things to immediately consider are whether or not your Hard Disc Drive is possibly filled to 80% of its capacity (or beyond ? When is the last time that you defragmented your Hard Disc Drive ? Hint: If it isn't done at least once a week it should be ! Are you running any other CPU usage 'intensive' applications at the same time as trying to listen to music ? Loads more, but this should get you going !!! |
