Very slow downloads Why is Limewire so ****ing slow? I liked Napster better but Napster went bye bye. So what does Limewire have to offer us computer music users? Anything else cool? I wish your software has fast searches and accurate results. And also, i can not tell what type of mp3 file, for example 128kb or higher. So how can i tell? I don't want to download mp3 files at 5mb or over unless no one have it then i do. Slow connections with any type of medium is sucky. So I use T3 at school, and it take like 10 to 15 minute to download, how slow is that ****? |

I am on Linux behind D-link DSL router and the best I have ever got was 4.5 K/sec. My Win 2k machine through the same DSL router gets 45 K/sec on WinMX. Limewire sure does seem to be slooow and very spotty at getting files. I don't get more than 20% of what I try to download. Just somehow doesn't seem right. |
