Limewire toooooo slow!!!!
 

Hi all,
I had recently some problems while connecting with limewire, what i did is that as some of the threads here suggested i deleted .limewire folder & presto i connect perfectly.

The problem is that before this connection problem i used to download with an average speed of 25 KB/S after i did this the maximum i can get is 8-10 KB/S but most of the time its either 1 or 2 Kb.

So is there anything i can do about that, i have the latest version of limewire and i use mccaffee firewall.

Did you open the LimeWire listening port in your firewall? This would increase download performance.
