Incomplete folder. If I understand correctly, the Incomplete folder is where downloads that are not finished are stored, thereby the name Incomplete. My problem is the Incomplete folder keeps getting put on my C drive under c:\program files\LimeWire\LimeWire 4.2.6 Pro\Incomplete. This is not where I want it. My C drive is a very small 6 gig drive and gets filled up quickly. I want the incomplete folder on my 40 gig D drive. Everything I have tried keeps putting the Incomplete folder on the C drive. I have the download directory set to the D:\ for the D drive. I've tried uninstalling the software and re-installing it to the D drive under D:\LimeWire 4.2.6 Pro. Even when I do this there is a folder created on c:\program files\LimeWire\LimeWire 4.2.6 Pro\Incomplete. Please help. |
What actually happens is LW is set to place the Incomplete folder one folder up from the DL or shared folder. EX: The DL folder is D:\Movies the Incomplete folder would be D:\Incomplete. So it is impossible to make the DL folder an entire drive like D:\ and have the Incomplete folder on D:\Incomplete. LW automatically defaults back to the way it was programmed. Which I belive is C:\Program Files\Lime Wire\Lime Wire Pro 4.2.6\Incomplete. |
