Does the file name have preview in it? Everytime you preview a file, a preview file is created in the incomplete folder. So to watch your movie, go to your LW Dwnld folder; for LW 4.2.x go to the LW Library window, select Saved Files, then select your movie file to the right of it. Now press Launch.

I have exactly the same problem and it happens on every movie file i have tried to download with LW. Also, the search gives a huge # at the top, but always returns the same movies everytime. What's up with that? Is there another ssearch engine for movies that's better?

A full movie of any decent quality should be 500+ MB in size! Ignore those wmv files you get in your results from T1 sites. Most of these are fakes, they replicate your search criteria. These are usually the 1st results you will receive. Also the best movie formats are avi, mpeg/mpg, avi-divx.

Are you sure you have all necessary codecs for you movie player. VLC has built in codecs & plays everything except the odd wmv file. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (it's free & choose the nearest mirror site)

Instead of launching the movies try opening them from your LW Downld folder. Go to LW's Library select Saved Files folder, select any file to the right of it & press the Explore button. This will open the folder up for you. Now try double-clicking these movie files (make sure they don't have peview in their name.) This way you can be sure you have selected the right file & whether there is an issue with the file itself.
