i shared some files and it shows in the library but it never gets any uploads. when i search for it , it doesnt appear.waited for a long time and still didnt see it. are you suppose to see your own files when you search?

I forgot to mention that i have a router and firewall but i correctly fowarded the port and forced the IP and enabled access to Gnutella in the firewall

You can't search the Gnutella network for files you're sharing. If you want to know where it is, you can select it & press the Explore button. This will open the folder up for you.
