I'm unable to download at a normal pace.

Hello there. I have a DSL connection--Usually anything I download is completed within a matter of minutes. But lately, my downloads have been very, very slow, inconsistant, and often just stopping altogether. I don't know how I could keep anything going long enough to finish it.

Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

Thank you for your time :p

Note: I've already optimized all my settings.

Oh, so downloading music and movies is okay, but operating systems is a no no? Look, if you can't help me, fine, but don't come in here and try to make me feel guilty for taking a little money out of Microsoft's roomy pocket.

Alrighty, sorry about that then :D Negligence on my part, certainly.

Uh, okay, if we can, let's assume I never said anything about...anything.

I'm having problems downloading. I've optimized all my settings, as suggested in a sticky thread above, and I still have the slow, inconsistant, pausing downloads. Can anyone help me?

I turned off uploads altogether and I still have the problem :(

There are several (80 or so) hosts, though. Are they all screwed up, or is something wrong with me?

Hm, I didn't know one could do that :D Well, it three out of four people said it was a bad file...I think I'll trust them. Maybe I can get a used copy of Windows 2000 somewhere :(
