![]() In my experience, small .wmv video files (less than 10MB) can be a problem; if you are not online, they insist on a connection, they can initiate unwanted downloads and can contain all sorts of hidden nasties. If you must download .wmv files, always virus check them first before doing anything else, never ever play them while connected to the internet and if they insist on an internet connection before they will play then always delete them. ![]() ya .wmv aren't that great unless their coming from a secure location, like on a website... but thats different, just always look at their extensions, if it is a .wmv dont download it, cuz its just a pain. These are same: .mpg .mpeg .afi and there are a couple of others i forgot, those ones stated previously in this topic. |
