sberlin, i answered all of the other questions to you but i havent answered your new one...the kernel32.dll version is 5.1.2600.1560 (xpsp2_gdr.040517-1325)

A- Windows XP Professional
B- Limewire 4.2.6
C- Yes, downloading worked previously.
D- January 19th or 20th
E- I installed some programs but I did a windows update after it stopped working.
F- C:\Documents and Settings\Clifford Eugene\Shared
G- No
H- C
I- Internal
J- None at all now. I deleted/uninstalled Limewire and reinstalled it and it is still not working.
K- When it start downloading it says "Connecting" and usually within a matter of a second or two it pops up "100%" and states "Could not move to library".
L- Every download
M- ---
N- Yes it still fails.
O- Yes, I run Norton antivirus.
P- I installed this version of Norton after I encountered the problem hoping Norton would be a remedy but it still doesn't work.
"New Question"- My version is 5.1.2600.1106 (xpsp1.020828-1920)

If any solution is found please alert me at CliffCawthorne@msn.com as soon as possible.

Hi Folks,

We're still not certain why this problem suddenly started appearing, but we believe we might have found a workaround.

Please download LimeWire from this link and see if downloading starts working. Let us know whether or not this version of LimeWire (4.3.3) works for you.

Also please check to see if other things are working properly, like completing a full download, resuming an incomplete download from the library, sharing files, etc...

okay i got the new version you posted and everything worked, will you be fixing the limewire pro version soon because thats what i had befor this happened. Thank you for all your hard work.

But Sam do you really recommend Resuming from the library? It has a poor record of success! :confused:

You can download the Pro version of this from your personal pro page, after clicking on the beta link at the bottom. We're likely going to release this version into production sometime on Monday.
