Download Speed Extremly Low
 

Hey guys, I just bought this new computer and the internet connection I have says it should be downloading about 100kb a second minimum...but it seems that my router is slowing down my downloads to about 3k-15k on good days? Does anyone know how I can speed my downloads up, or how to allow my router to allow Limewire to go through it?
OS:WIndows Xp
Memory:512mbs
Processor:3.2ghz
Internet Connection: High Speed Cable Internet...

ya it says I should be running at 150 kb/sec at least and it also says my upload speed is higher than my dowload speed

I don't think that that is normal, but then again you never know these days: anything is possible.
Anyway, do the test multiple times at different hours to get a more accurate result.
