Default t1 or adsl? + 6 hosts

1) for a start, when i choose my speed between T1 and ADSL/CABLE... i can't really decide... I got 1.5mb / 256k which is a real hassle on this because if i choose T1 as my connection i can set max downloads to 146kb/s (Unlimmited) but my upload speed is a maximum of 146 (unlimmited) aswell!!!
I only got 256k of upload (25.6kb/s upload speed).
And if i choose ADSL/CABLE, my max upload is around 40kb/s and my upload speed will be 38 kb/s.
Isn't there a way to CUSTOMIZE?

Cuz if u choose T1, my upload speed will be WAY too high. And if i choose ADSL. my download will be 3x slower than it should be. What should i do???

2) The maximum hosts i get is 6 on most if not all downloads.... Does this mean i am downloading off 6 people???
(I have ADSL/CABLE as my internet selected so far). So i am dowloading max 26kb/s. Is there anyway i can download faster and get more hosts (What are hosts?)

The connection setting has no effect on your download speed.

Choose your connection type based on the list I've posted in this thread:

http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=32115

Leave the Download Bandwidth slider at 100% (Unlimited) and adjust the Upload Bandwidth slider a bit (e.g. your max upload bandwidth - 10%).
