Presumably your player can open m3u playlist files. Do just that, give your playlists unique names that show the artist or style of music, etc. & save them. Here's some points but these apply to iTunes: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...487#post116487

okay got the songs figured out but now i can't save videos. i add them to my playlist and save as into a trash folder but the extension .m3u doesn't play in windows media player. also i can't change the file type cause my only other option is all files.

Wow ... lol I've never heard of anybody even trying that. I guess it's b/c LW's media player is only an audio player. That's why they don't work. It wasn't designed for video files. :)

Also m3u is an audio playlist format. Many mp3 apps can open m3u playlist files but I doubt any video apps can.

i can download videos and watch them in limewire but can't get them on my harddrive

It's not actually LW that's playing them. LW simply launches your default video player to play those types of files.

To find your files see my post here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...hlight=explore

using windows explorer you should be able to find the file. Once you do you can either double left click on the file and it should start playing provided you have the correct codecs. Or in the alternative you should be able to single right click and add to the now playing list for windows media player.

If you need codecs (& it sounds like you do) see: http://www.divx-digest.com/software/nimo_pack.html (use the 2nd mirror link - the 1st seems to have moved!)

OR use a different default video player with built in codecs that plays all but the odd wmv file & is free: VLC: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (choose the nearest mirror site.)

And also DivX player. It's always good to have more than one player around just in case. ;)
