Hi, all is working well except that others don't see my files when they do a search. I have them in the folder that is designated in Limewire and also within sub-folders.

I use a router and sygate firewall and XP but have no problems seaching and downloading files.

Any ideas and help would be appreciated.

P.S a friend checked via his limewire and I can't see his files either.

How do you know others can't see your 'shared' files? Did you set up a 'shared' folder or more?

Go to Tools>Options>Sharing & select the folders you wish to share & press the Add button. And then press the Apply button when you've finished.

Go to your Library window within LW & look at your shared folders. These are the folders you are sharing (except for incomplete unless you ticked the option for partial file sharing.)

All is well now - my subfolders weren't being seen.

Seemed unfair for me to get from others when they couldn't get from me :-)
