Need More Sources?

I am new to Limewire and am trying to download a few files. Seraches reveal availability but when I attempt to download, I keep getting a "need more sources" warning, even half way through a download. Could someone explain?

It means that you need to find other people to download from. You've lost the connection with them for some reason. That might be b/c you're trying to downld too many files at once or it might be b/c they've gone offline or just that your connection with them was not so strong. Doing another search for the topic is a goo way to get it started again. Generally best to downld from those that have many sources under the [b]#[/b} column in the search results. You can also try stopping the downld & then re-selecting it from the search results.

Here's some hints: A well set-up LW can start to automatically continue its dwnlding after it's settled down perhaps 2 out of 3 times you open LW. Optimising LW & Maximising Uplds & Dwnlds A (1st post only) & also Part B which is even better & last & least are search & dwnld hints. The latter one I've been thinking about re-writing for some time. That's just for playing it safe. eg- I show all speeds & qualities.

"Find Sources"

Does this seem ridiculous to anyone else?
It says "need more resources" so I HAVE TO TELL IT: "Find Sources" ... ? ?

Ridiculious in what sense of the word. I quoted the problem exactly as it occured and received a helpful and professional response from someone else...what is your problem?
