"awaiting Sources"
 

my songs keep saying "AWAITING SOURCES".......I highlight the song and click on the "RESUME" icon...... after a while it goes back to saying "AWAITING SOURCES" agian...


what more can i do?

I was wondering the same thing. I think it means that there is no one on whit the files you want to download. You have to wait for it to find files to share. Something like that.

The 'RESUME' function can be effective. BUT ... the most effective way to continue a file is to search for new/fresh sources. Then it should restart downlding. If not, delete it from the Download list & reselect it from the search results (yes the one that looks like a manilla folder that's open & has an arrow above it.) I find this is a very effective method. Ever since I was using dial up.

Here's some hints on optimising LW's use: A well set-up LW can start to automatically continue its dwnlding after it's settled down perhaps 2 out of 3 times you open LW. Optimising LW & Maximising Uplds & Dwnlds A (1st post only) & also Part B which is even better & last & least are search & dwnld hints. The latter one I've been thinking about re-writing for some time. That's just for playing it safe. eg- I show all speeds & qualities.
