Default Downloading Problem

i have a problem while downloading, when i use my Dial Up using Telephone line i can download a file easily without any problem . I took new internet connection , its a LAN connection(here we call is cable connection) of speed 64kbps. but i am unable to download the file properly.
It shows Connecting ,after few minutes then shows "waiting for busy hosts" or "need more sources".i have this problem only with LAN connection but not with Dial up.
Is there any setting to be done in my System and as well as in Limewire Options.
Please suggest me.

Can you give us a total desciption of your set up:
1. OS version? (eg: win 98)
2. What firewalls you have?
3. ram?
4. HDD space available?
5. Connection type?
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers?
7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)?
These details are vital if you want us to find out what your connection problem is.
8. Which LW & Java versions?

It sounds to me like a combination of modems & routers with internal firewalls. Also your computer may not be properly configured to allow LW: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml

1.Windows 98 SE
2.Sygate Pro and Norton Firewall.
3.256 SD RAM
4.15 GB
5.Cable Connection(LAN) 64kbps and Dial Up Connection.
6. Dial Up Modem -D-Link. LAN Card- Generic.Reuters, i dont know about them as they r provided by cable operators and r else where situated.
8.LW-4.2.6 JRE 1.5
i am able to Download the file through Dial Up easily but i am not able to download same file on same System through LAN connection though the speed is good.

You should configure these firewalls to allow LW full access. For Sygate see link at bottom of this page: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml
& for Norton see: Configuring Norton Internet Security

The routers may themselves have internal firewall but if you don't have access then ... we'll hope it doesn't affect things.

I could be tempted to get you to update to LW 4.4.x b/c it has improved firewall detection & ability to work with it so to speak. It has UPnP detection if your equipment uses that technology.
