Im a noob... but I just want to ask you guys if you can tell me how to clear searh history. Two days ago, my friend wanted to see some xxx material in my computer, so now when I write I word that starts with 'p' the word 'porn' comes up. The problem is that my mom sometimes also uses my computer. What can I do? how do I clear my searches? thx for reading!!!

Close LW or else, go to LW's menu Tools>Options>View>Autocomplete & untick the option & Press the Apply button. Ahhhh you're safe now! lol

The actual search results you need to click on the red crosses on the tabs to delete them.

the history is cleared whenever you quit. You can also set the options to not use "Autocomplete"

btw--changing search types used to clear the history: play around and see if that still works.

Also, type in a 'p' something that comes alphabetically before 'po'

The experience of Stief to the rescue! I think I've noticed something similar to that with changing search type. I have also noticed if I've left LW on for a day or two it sometimes forgets its search history. Perhaps more of a mac issue if you know what I mean Stief. lol Just as well it's not so applicable to windows users.
