If you move your incomplete files...

Hi,

I downloaded a file to about 85% completion, and acidentally deleted it from the explored incomplete folder. After dragging it back from the trash, I hit resume. Instead of continuing from 85%, it just started to download from scratch, despite the file size showing as 4MB in the incomplete window... Any idea why this might be, and is there any way around it? (I'm a PC man, by the way.)

Thanks.

Neil.

You shouldn't have hit the Resume button from the library window. You would've still had the file listed in the downld window right? I'd have just searched the topic again & pressed for it to downld again. Unfortunately the Resume button often has a side effect of starting from 0%.

For what's it's worth, "0" Oh I think this was my 5000th post. http://users.pandora.be/eforum/emoti...ic/musik05.gif And I've had a headache for 6 days must be a brain tumour! lol

Ah.

Ah, I see...

I did a 'clear inactive'. Trust me to be a clean freak. I'll know not to for next time though.

Thanks a lot for the impressively speedy response!

Neil.

Another question.

By the way...

Is there a good reasom why all the downloads appear in the incomplete folder in duplicate or triplicate? One version is usually red too. Any way of simplifying things in this department?

Cheers again,

Neil

I just posted to a similar question. Sometimes that happens. See: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=34153
I've had up to 5 or more in red of the same downld. Once you've downlded the file you can delete those (but careful to delete the right ones.)
