complete deletion of file
 

how do you completely remove all components of an undesired file? I inadvertently downloaded a file. I have deleted from the library (saved/shared/incomplete). A search on files revealed components were still there, but I could not delete. Please help, Thank you.

In my previous post I neglected to mention that I had in fact run the virus scan + spyware scan. I did update both and run them again, just to make sure, after your note. They did not detect any problems.
I am not completely familiar with computers. However, somehow previously I had run a search within limewire for the files on my computer. It did show a couple places where at least the name of the file existed. I can't remember how I did that, so I am unable to repeat it. (I don't know if the file is still there.)
Do you know how to search and show all files of limewire, other that the library?
And, I was able to delete items in the library. If something is there otherwise, how do I delete it?
