limewire to i tunes to ipod problem
 

new ipod user. I can download from limewire which automatically does go to itunes library listed as robos limewire. The songs are in i tunes and i can play them on my computer but when i attach my ipod they will not transfer to my ipod. am i missing something? i thought that they are automatically supposed to download to my ipod once they are in a library? I do have my i tunes set to automatically transfer any new songs to my ipod. I am able to transfer songs automatically from a cd to my ipod but they wom't transfer from a download off of limewire. all help appreciated.

You're obviously a Windows user. Even though iTunes shows a LW playlist. These files do not exist within iTunes actual library. Only mac osx will allow auto importing directly to iTunes own library. So the LW playlist is simply a reference to the songs in LW's download folder.
