mp3 icon has changed Just in the past week or so, I have noticed that all of the icons referring to mp3's have changed to the "unknown file" icon. On a mouse roll over, the help window pops up and says 'winamp media file' but after downloading, the file is currupt. T3's are not the only ones who are like this...it is every mp3 file. The mpeg files turn out fine, so far. I have tried all of the suggestions that have been posted and none change the files. I have even found a website that distributes older versions (all the way back to 1.4b) of Limewire and they too have the same problem. It's either a registry entry during limewire install that does this or it's a mass network scam...who knows. |
See Setting Default app (click on link) This applies to video but the same principle for audio.
