Upload speed I am running a cable modem that runs real close in several bandwidth tests to a T1 connection but cannot get my upload speeds to go past a combined total of 21 Kb/s. I have my upload speed set at unlimited with a max of 2 uploads at a time and have uploaded several files and never have I seen it go past an upload speed of 21 Kb/s. My question is can I tweak a setting some where to up this value or is this the max. Thanks for any help. |
Uploads are limited on most cable networks.. silly willy... Uploads are limited on most cable networks.. Company logic is: avg user needs from a connection are mainly downloads.. |
yes, but..... Many cable companies limit upload speeds to 128 Kbps, however, many cable users test at much higher than that. I think he was asking if he could use his maximum upload bandwith which may or may not be 128K. I don't have an answer for that. Sorry. |
