![]() After initially downloading about 30 tracks, I have been unable to get a single additional download with the entire list displaying "awaiting more sources..." for days. I read the post on "Force IP" but I cannot for the life of me find that section in my Limewire Pro 4.8.1. Can someone point me to the right place and if that place doesn't exist in 481 pro then perhaps help me figure out what the issue may be? I have a DLink DI604 DSL/Router acting as a firewall. Automatic UPnP configuration is selected in LW. Thx! |

![]() It would help dramatically if we knew which operating system you're using. If you're refering to forwarding a port, then you will definitely need to set up a static ip 1st. If UPnP isn't doing the trick for you. If you're using a mac, see: D-Link 504G instructions for Mac For windows see: D-Link 604 port forwarding & follow the link to setting up a static ip 1st before forwarding Port 6346 Last step is Force IP instructions & sample image AND 2 posts after that. For windows that's LW's menu Tools>Options>Advanced>Firewalls & for mac that's LW Preferences>Advanced>Firewalls. Another sample image HERE! So to re-iterate: 1. Set up Static IP. 2. Forward port 6346 with your router. 3. Force IP within LW. By the way, Awaiting Sources signifies you've Resumed your incompletes which can be but is not the most effective way to continue them. It can also have side-FX if applied to too many. Choose those with multiple star quality downld quality & multiple sources under the # columns. ![]() Thanks for you help. I am using XP and from your very helpful reply I see that the force IP check box is only visible under the Mac OS. I have done what you described for Windows OS' but I'm still not having much luck. I'll try your suggestion about using finds that have multiple #'s Many thx. |

![]() Obviously didn't click on all the links I gave. The last one was an example of windows version. 2nd person to claim only mac has it. Perhaps you need to drag your options window down or something like here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...highlight=drag |
