My router is giving me some troubles...
 

Hey all, I installed Limewire, and I followed the steps "Connection Problems" part of the site (here: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml).

So basically, here is what happens: I can search just fine, and many files show up, but every time I download anything, it sets the status as "Queued" even if I try to download from those with high speed and the such.

My router is a Linksys BEFSX 41; I searched google for quite some time, but I couldn't really find any useful information as to why it is doing htis. I have no problems downloading anything else.

Do you guys have any ideas as to what could be causing this? THanks in advance!

EDIT: SOrry, I forgot to mention htat I am on WinXP SP2.

Have you gone to the Linksys site and downloaded and installed the firmware updates for your router?

I had a simular problem with another online program and updating the firmware for the router did the trick for me..

THere are no firmware updates for my model :(

Just went to the linksys site and found updates for your model..

D'oh! I figured they hadn't put any up since I checked last. :( Thanks man. I'll see if these do anything.
