Service provider turns off my DNS server?

I have recently put a new hard drive in my system and had to reinstall Limewire to it... I've never had problems in the past with my service provider shutting down my dns server...
But now every time I run Limewire, my service provider turns off my DNS server due to it recieving to many hits an hour..
The first time they shut me down they told me I had over 36,000 hit in an hours time.. the last time they shut me down they said I had over 70,000 hits...
Like I said I didn't have this problem in the past..
I first suspected that it might be a virus that caused it but I ran a few differant anti-virus programs and spyware programs... Nothing was found.. that and the only times I've been shut down was when I was using Limewire..

I can't tell my service provider that I am using lime wire due to them frowning on it, and I'm running out of excuses for what might be the cause of all the hits...

Any idea's on what I can do to fix this? Or will I never be able to use limewire again?

I've heard of that before where the ISP sees people uplding files & considers it as a server. You'd need to read your isp policies to see how it affects you. I don't know whether it will help but you could try setting up a proxy. (Some isp's also don't like proxies set up without their permission - read their policy.) For more info about proxies see: A Fix for those whose ISP's block Limewire pages 1 & 2 which has a link to alternative instructions.
