Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is it True/False? Try deleting some of your incompletes that are say 0% & then go to your incomplete folder & list in size mode & delete those that are 0 KB. |
still notta tried all that and didnt help, even shut down norton to make sure. checked that setting under bugs and says true:confused: |
And you tried deleting your LW preferences folder whilst LW was closed? Instructions: Fixes for Limewire Satellite is subceptible to weather & gamma from what I've heard. So some days will be better than others. |
yes i did delete preferences folder when i had it closed and i did speed test and its 457kbs a sec witch tells me i have some kind of trouble with the file sharing, fired up win mx but not many users there anymore, going to tey emule see what it does. Thanks for your info. |
I just did a search of the forum for Starband & check the results: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/search...der=descending All complaining of slow speeds! |

Download Speeds is not good I am using Windows XP SP2 on a Pentium 3 processor. I have LW4.8.1 pro. I have a 512Kbs connection. When I started using LimeWire months back I used to get speeds for up to 40Kb/s. Now I can only get a maximum speed of 2kb/s but even if on web I can reach high speeds. I have uninstalled LimeWire and reinstalled still no improvements. Deleting the preferences also does not improve teh speed. I have reinstalled Jave with no success. Lastly I have formatted my HD and reinstalled everything, still no improvements in the download speed. I have disabled frewall, anti-virus and IDS with no success. Has anyone experienced this problem and what have you done to solve? Thanks |
Who is your Internet Service provider? Some block or filter p2p programs. |
