I am a seasoned Ares user and am trying Limewire as ares never has the files i am looking for. However, after having left my pc running all night, i wake up to find nothing is downloading - its either awaiting more sources or needing more sources. Is there anyway i can set this up to search automatically, so i have some chance of something downloading overnight

Well sometimes LW needs baby-sitting, but if set up well, will look after itself. No .. the re-search ability is a bit of a contentious issue. LW tries to minimise the traffic demands on the Gnet. It is possible however ... right-click a search result & it will show the options. One is to repeat the search every so often.

Some other 'more wise' hints: A well set-up LW can start to automatically continue its dwnlding after it's settled down perhaps 2 out of 3 times you open LW. Optimising LW & Maximising Uplds & Dwnlds A (1st post only) & also Part B which is even better & last & least are search & dwnld hints. The latter one I've been thinking about re-writing for some time. That's just for playing it safe. eg- I show all speeds & qualities.
