Download speed problems

Recently my download speeds have gone downhill, from 50-60 kb/s, to 5-10kb/s, though i have recently downloaded ZoneAlarm, maybe that's what's wrong?

If you can help me, please do, if you like, i'll give you all the info in the above posts

ive shut down Z/A, and then tried d/l'ing, but no difference
