xp lime wire 4.8.1 |
basiclly my downloads are super slow like 15 mins a song |
try one of the free songs from www.magnetmix.com If you get good speeds from them, then the slow songs are because of the source. |
all those songs need more sources |
OK--your gnutella connection is being limited somehow. :( Read the forum rules to see what kind of information people need to try and help you. The problem could be with your XP setup, the way you connect to the internet (router, for example), or with your network administration (school, work, ISP). |
verison 4 8 1 windos xp cable connection rates 3.2 mbps uploads 491 kilobits per second downloads 2806 kbps no router connect directly to isp no networks would like some help im down loading files fine but there just slow the kb speed is always changeing and goes to zero for awhile them starts going again never going above 10 15 or 20 kb/s the download percentage meter never moves the same time as the kb/s is moveing i have open firewalls and allowed for norton dont know what else to to theres no more help in there manual |
Who is your Internet Service Provider? Also don't forget your d/l speeds may be affected by the host's ability to u/l. for example if the u/l host is dialup. I have DSL 1.5 MB/s d/l, 1.5 MB/s u/l, but if I connect to host or multiple host, and they are dialup(modem) my d/l speeds rarely get above 30 - 40 KB/s even with 8 hosts. |
o i didnt for get to block dialup |
