partial downloads restarting at 0% ? I have a problem. My partial downloads are showing as "0%" in my download list. Does anyone know how I can get the files to re-activate properly? |
I don't know Verity, but someone must surely know how to resolve it for you or, if not, at least point you in the right direction. Good Luck! Verity |
2 ways at least, but not guaranteed. 1--repeat the search and download again. If it matches, it should resume. 2--clear the downloads, then go to the Library and click "resume" for the incompletes that are greater than 0 KB in size (just delete all the 0 KB ones) 3--use the search button in this forum to see what kind of info is already available. |
Thank you Stief, Unfortunately I have tried the things you've suggested. I just find it irritating to have a week's worth of downloads in the incomplete folder and have to start them all again from '0', and it could happen again with the new downloads. I'll try a new search for information though. I am very grateful for your help. Regards, Verity |
check out the option that only keeps the incompletes for 7 days--maybe you should change it to a higher number? |
Hello again Stief, That may well have been the problem. After they went to '0' I did change that option to 99 days. If that is what caused it - can the files be re-activated? My sincere thanks, Verity |
Hi again Verity If the files won't resume from the Library or after a search and redownload, then I'm afraid there is no other way. Sorry--wish I could give you better news. |
I wonder why? Regards, Verity |
