Attacked while downloading I'm new to limewire, but... while downloading files I was attacked (norton intrusion) - while trying to sort out the nature of the attack in norton about six porn files found their way into my limewire que - is it possible for an attacker to do this? It seems norton blocked the attacks of which there were about 150 in about 15mins, but I was left with these files in my que. The IP of the attacker was 203.194.56.150 if anyone wants to check it out. Is the attacker using limewire ports? If so how could the files get in my que? Should I be concerned about further attacks? Now that I have blocked the IP, I get warnings every time I log onto limewire. Help...??? |
If you blocked them with NIS they shouldn't have gotten in, although I've never seen that many attacks in such a short period of time. Don't know about the files in the que. Kill the d/l and delete them from the library incomplete files. Then run your Anti-Virus just to make sure. I run NIS 2004 |
Also this might be an idea to check: Organisations trying to connect via Port 6346 |
