I'm on a 100k+ connection and with an older version of Limewire was getting 80k downloads no problem. Then I got sick of the nag windows and updated to the latest version. Now I'm lucky if I get 1k! I've tried changing all the preferences, I've read all the threads that I can find that might help, to no avail. At this rate it takes roughly 2 days to download an mp3!!

I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling and redownloading and reinstalling. No help whatsoever.

And yes I'm behind a firewall but like I said, it was working fine before I 'upgraded'.

Any ideas much appreciated.

I use to have the same problem but then I changed the port number in the limewires options to 35904 and the speeds are back to normal.
