Hi...can i know wat does # stands for? tis # can be seen beside the quality bar at the search page there of the LW...wat does it mean? and also the values assocaited with it?

This # represents the number of hosts that are sharing that file.

When you do a search the number under the # colum represents the number of hosts sharing that file when you did the search.

If there is no number in the # colum. That means only one host has that file.

The higher the number in the # colum the better chance of a successful download.

So u mean if the number is higher mean more ppl are sharing the files? but tis doesnt mean if there are 22...when u dl the file...u will be connected to 22 hosts rite?

what shud i do if LW detect a corrupted file? if i resume dl...will there be a chance that the file will work well?

and what's exactly is Swarm Downloading? how do i c if there's a group of ppl having the same file?

Well I guess you have selective reading skills.

If you download the manual in the bottom sticky. It will explain may of your questions.

If you receive a corrupted file msg., that means something is wrong with the file. Whether it will play correctly are not if you finish the d/l, who knows. That is a choice and chance you have to take.

Your last question goes back to the first answer I made in this thread. The more hosts available for the d/l create the swarming effect by pulling pieces of the file you are d/l from the different hosts you are connected to. A single host does not provide the entire file, but it comes from multiple hosts --- thus the swarming effect.

i have read alot of the posts...can u suggest me the simplest ways and most effective ways of optmising LW for dl? cos alot of ppl ask this qns and there are some replies...but the replies i cannot understand deep enough...can u kindly tell me, to u, wat can be done to use LW effectively?
