Problems with Ghosts on LimeWire

What is the deal with these Ghost Sources? Every now and then you will find a file that you want, but when you go to download yo get the awaiting busy source message. When you do finally get a link you are at position 20 or so, and when after many hours you finally get to position 1 and you start to connect you get the awaiting busy host message again. If I am at a position waiting to get connected then that means that at least someone else has to be connected and is downloading a file from that person, and yet after more than a month the file I am interested in has not turned up from any other source [ in other words it always remains 1 source who is a busy host ]

Does the file I am trying to download exist, does not exist and somehow because of a glitch the network thinks the file still exists and keeps everyone on hold, or is this just another jerk pulling a prank?

Sounds like you are getting results from some kind of Shareaza host: they use download queues which can be quite irritating.
