Since I upgraded to 4.8, every download says "Queued."
 

I upgraded about a week ago and every single file always comes up as Queued! How can I fix this problem?

I searched through the threads and found a handful that had a similar question to mine but didnt answer my question. Please, can someone out there help me!?

Hahaha ... Queued means your LW is too busy!

When you open LW the files are always queued! So leave it to settle down ... be that 10, 20 or 30 mins. Each file will attempt to connect by itself in turn. Also if you resume or Find sources button on them all then they will queue for much, much longer.

If still problems then try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire

but tis folder contains files like registry entires and other seem-like important files rite? do i like to back up this folder? or can i jus delete it away safely?

Delete .. next time you open LW it will be recreated.

i have seen alo of ur replies...esp those that can help to dl fast...but alot i saw is dunno can work or too deep understand...so do u reali have some ways to dl faster? as in reali can work kinda ways? thanks...best if its ur own way...

If you're uploading then LW will perform much better, that's important to understand. So sharing a variety of material can help to connect directly/indirectly via different sources. Some people rotate their shared material which seems to have the effect of obtaining different search results. Personally I share a variety of material at the one time. Last year when I added a new type of material to share I found I got a different breed of uploaders & many files I'd been having difficulty obtaining suddenly became much easier to get.
