Corrupted File Hi, Really sorry if this thread has come up before but I was unable to find a duplication if any. I am trying to download audio and I would say at least 50% are coming with a pop up saying that the file is correupted and do I want to continue. I am new to LimeWire and I am despirately trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. Can anyone help me please and tell me what I should or should not be doing. Thanks |
For a start view this: T3 Spammers; mp3 Bit-Rates Versus File Sizes See if this technique helps; ie: noting the above or avoiding T3 |
Thanks very much. So its basically the T1, T3 and higher that are causing the problem. Really not clued up on all of this. Thanks a million. |
AFAIK it's files originating from T3 sources. But keep in mind some people downld these corrupt files & don't check them for some time whilst keeping them in their shared folder. Good idea to preview the files whilst downlding. |
