Slow downloading speed.

last time my limewire can download more than 10kb/s i'm using DSL 512k but after i reformated my computer my limewire downloading speed is 0 or 1kb/s. I have tried using the 5 ways of fixing limewire as you recommended but it doesn't seem to be working. Please help me.

Try Using...

Do you use files with few sources or many because it helps ALOT to have a bunch of sources. Also do they say the speed is modem. Your speed is kind of waisted if they don't have any.

just some thoughts- jimma

The speed is still slow when i have tons of sources to download from. i think there is something wrong.like a bug or some sort. And i have already put the settings to allow bandwidth of a dsl/modem 512kbps

If LW was OK before you reformatted and very slow afterwards then it seems that you have forgotten to reinstall something. But at a guess, it is likely to be some sort of device driver, i.e. LW interacts with a piece of hardware or software in your PC while the device driver acts as a catalyst.

However, without knowing the specifics of your PC it is highly unlikely that anyone will be able to give you a direct answer to your problem.

I would suggest that you go to your PCs manufacturer's web site, if you have not already done so, and download all the available "drivers" that your formatting wiped out.

Problems with Java

Kire

The best thing to do is delete and reinstall your Java.
