Unable to get anything downloaded.

Help! I just purchased Limewire and installed it. When I open Limewire and do a search for anything, nothing happens. I checked to make sure my firewall is turned off and it is. I don't get any errors or anything, just nothing shows up at all no matter what I search for. Does anyone know what would cause this?

I am running Windows XP and using SBC DSL to connect. I have a wireless router in the house to use for my laptop. My firewall is turned off, when I open Limewire I have one very small green bar and the rest are red.

your isp provides parental control filtering, and a firewall. You need to configure those through your ISP software. Your ISP should have instructions on how to do this.

You have to have admin. priviliges on your comp. user account to do these changes.

Any answers!!!!

I'm still having problems! Why no answers on this forum????

Sometimes it works but most of the time nothing. Used to work just fine and nothing at all has been changed on my computer.

Check your ISP software settings, your ISP provides options you have to configure, they may have just added them to your sevice agreement.

There is also a forum search function, upper right between f.a.q. and home.

This is also a forum and not tech. support. We are volunteers who try and assist resolving problems. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/announ...php?forumid=23
