Default Uploads yet again.

New member same ole prob need experienced LW assistance. I can download without a prob. But uploading just doesnt seem to be happening at all for me. I am showing all my files in shared folder as white not red so they are i presume listed, i am getting plenty of hits, but no downloading from me. I have read about the fine tuning links and set up my LW accordingly. I am running xp pro and have the firewall turned off. I run Zonealarm firewall and it is set to allow LW access and server access. My version of LW is 4.8.1 and java 1.5.0_01

It seems that the most common answer to this prob is check out the firewall link. Well with zonealarm having access granted that should be it right? Or is there something i am missing with it? If it was an isp issue would i be able to download with np? To be honest i joined to download an it does that, but i am happy to give something back to the community if some bright spark out there can assist me to get set up to do so lol.
Many thanks in advance.

Hahaha funny you should say that. lol Last year some people were having problems burning movies they'd downlded so I tried it out & the easiest & smallest ones to get were just those you mentioned. I immediately noticed my uplds suddenly changed to this type. I also found that uplding thru a new crowd of people that many files I'd had problems getting were suddenly easy or easier to get. So sharing a variety of material seems to be the trick. Some people rotate their share material around week by week or month.
